In most cases, incoming students can apply previously earned credit toward as much as 40% of the courses required for their chosen program. Anything beyond that threshold is completed directly with us, which keeps the core of every degree grounded in our own curriculum and outcomes.
Every request is reviewed course by course rather than by overall credit count. An admissions representative compares the content, level, and learning outcomes of each prior course against its closest equivalent in our catalog before any credit is approved.
Coursework completed at a recognized institution outside the country is reviewed on an individual basis rather than through a blanket agreement. Each transcript is assessed for subject match, academic rigor, and a minimum grade point equivalency before any credit is granted.
Because grading systems vary widely from one country to the next, our team converts results to a comparable GPA scale as part of the evaluation. To protect the value of the credential, credit drawn from a combination of prior domestic transfer and international coursework cannot make up more than half of the total requirements for a given degree.
Life circumstances change, and your study format can change with them. Students who need to move from online to on-campus learning, or the other way around, can request the switch through their advisor with only minimal added paperwork, provided the program they're moving into is currently accepting students in that format.
